Wicked Wednesday: Luna Zega-Southern Seduction-Interview

Thanks so much for joining us for this installment of Wicked Wednesday. Today our guest is erotic author, Luna Zega. She's here to dish about her new release, Southern Seduction. AND she's offering up a download to one lucky commenter! Woot!

Welcome Luna!

Okay, let's jump right in!

RR: Tell us a little about Southern Seduction.

LZ: Southern Seduction is about Ramona Squires. She fell in the love with Ross Spears the first day she saw him in the second grade. Twenty-two years later when his truck breaks down in front of her house, she discovers that her crush wasn't unrequited. Neither had the guts to reveal their true feelings when they were teenagers. After years of wild, erotic wet dreams, will reality live up to the fantasy? Or will it be better?

RR: What was your inspiration for this wicked story?

LZ: A dream. No, not that kind of dream, darn it. I was at the Oklahoma Writers Federation conference in Oklahoma City last year and had this vivid dream of a guy I had a crush on throughout school. He was simply divine. I couldn’t for the life of me understand why he popped into my head. I hadn’t thought of him in years and there he was in all his save-a-horse-ride-a-cowboy glory walking through my dream. I even talked to my friend who can analyze dreams better than any shaman and she didn’t know what it was about either. On the long drive home it hit me. My unrequited love was haunting me because I needed to write a story about him. I’d talked with Rhonda Penders of The Wild Rose Press about venturing into erotica. I put two and two together and the result was a lot more dreams about my hot unrequited high school love and Southern Seduction.

RR: Is there a message in your book that you want readers to grasp or was it written for the purpose of pure naughty enjoyment?

LZ: There’s no underlying message in Southern Seduction. Its entire purpose is naughty enjoyment. I hope readers enjoy the story as much as I did writing it. It’s amazing how quickly the windows in my office steam up when I’m writing. I hope readers get a little hot under the collar, or better yet hot under the belt, when they read it.

RR: Describe your writing process?

LZ: I’m not a morning person, so I was really surprised to discover that I do my best writing in the mornings. I think it’s because nothing has cluttered my head yet. I wake up, grab something caffeinated and sit down in front of the computer. Since I garden in the South, I’ve tried to change my schedule so I’m outside in the cool(er) morning and inside writing in the afternoons, but it just doesn’t work for me. I need the clean slate of a newly awakened mind in order to write effectively. I used to devote 4 hours a day to writing, but I’ve allowed other things to get in my way. So, the start of 2012 has been committed to return to that schedule. So far, I’ve been about 53% successful in that attempt.

RR: How long have you been writing?

LZ: I started writing when I was a kid. I always kept a journal of some sort and I wrote my first novel in a notebook that I hid under my bed. No, I wasn’t writing erotica at the age of eight, but I was writing about how mean my brothers were and I just knew they’d find the notebook and kill me. It never occurred to me that I could make a living as an author, so I got a degree in education and taught English—talk about not making a living! When I moved to Alaska, I was hired on as a technical writer for the county government. It wasn’t until I returned to the Ozarks three years ago that I tried my hand as a fiction writer. I absolutely love it, but I’m still trying to figure out how to make a living at it.

RR: Are there any authors you would name as influences?

LZ: As a child, S.E. Hinton and Judy Blume. I’ve always enjoyed the works of LaVryle Spencer, Pamela Morsi, Jude Deveraux, Rachel Gibson and Christie Ridgeway. I’d have to say that all these authors have influenced my writing in one way or another. Gibson and Ridgeway are masters at including humor in their stories. I’ve found inspiration from Spencer and Morsi because they often write of uncharacteristic heroines. I like a story about the average woman finding love and romance. Who cares if the thin, gorgeous heiress finds love? I want the middle-aged frump to prevail. I’ve always enjoyed Deveraux’s work because she does such a fun job of incorporating characters from other books into the current book. I always feel like I’m in on a secret because I’ve already met the hero’s best friend.

RR: What led you to the erotic genre?

LZ:I was writing contemporary romance under the penname Claire Croxton. Turns out my sex scenes are considered “hot” and the editor suggested that I give erotica a try. Wow. Am I ever glad she did.

RR: Are you currently working on anything deliciously wicked?

LZ: I’m working on a short story set in Japan. There are some really wicked scenes that take place on a crowded train. I’m getting a lot of enjoyment writing that. I also working on one about a phone sex operator.

RR: You've got six key words to describe your own wicked fantasy. What are these six words?

LZ:Castle, Renaissance, Knight, Banquet, Exhibitionist, Threesome.

RR: Sleepwear: Nude of PJ's?

LZ: Nude

RR: Sweet & chocolaty, or salty & crunchy?

LZ: Sweet and chocolaty spiced with some salty nuts.

RR: Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt?

LZ: Puhleeze! Hugh Jackman.

RR: What is your all-time favorite "get you in the mood" song?

LZ: Star Spangled Banner. Ha! Just kidding. I love music, so just about anything does it for me. I’m easy.

RR: Can you share a wicked excerpt with us today? (the naughtier, the better! *wink*)

Excerpt:

Dinah barked and ran circles around me as I shut the door to my truck and climbed the steps of my cabin in the woods above the big house. I flung the door open and Dinah flew past me and barked louder. When I turned on the lights, I stopped short.

Ross Spears stood in the middle of my living room. He laughed and reached down to pet Dinah.

I leaned against the door to steady myself. “What are you…”

Without a word, he walked toward me. His arm wrapped around my waist, and he pulled me to him. Hot lips touched mine.

The chaste kisses of my adolescent dreams had been replaced by sultry, gotta-have-you-now kisses in later years, but nothing prepared me for the elation and arousal Ross evoked with a brush of his lips against mine.

His spicy, cinnamon-tinged tongue caressed my lips and tongue. He plunged his hand into my hair, making it impossible to escape his kisses. My bones liquefied. If he hadn’t held me in his arms, I would have been a puddle on the floor.

No resistance. No hesitation. With one kiss, I was his.

RR: Nice! Thanks so much for visiting us on Wicked Wednesday, Luna!

Luna Zega's Bio:

I was a late bloomer. Missed out on a lot of fun in my high school days; however, I made up for it in college. Ethnic diversity became my theme song. When I dated a guy from Thailand with a marble inserted at the head of his penis, I applied for a Thai work visa! Far be it from me to limit myself to one geographical region though and I became my own private United Nations. I did live in Asia for a couple of years and truly appreciated their laid back attitude about sex. It was refreshing and extremely stimulating. Then, I moved to Latin America. Can you say, "Ole!" OMG. I've always had a wet spot for Latinos and I had no problems finding playmates. Couldn't get enough. When my job transferred me back to the U.S., I dreaded once again being faced with the puritanical attitude of Americans, but quickly discovered there was always someone willing to assist in my fantasies. I receive such pleasure through role-playing: a saucy wench, the pirate's captive, the Highland lass (Who can resist a man in a kilt?) or the leather-clad seductress.

My biggest fantasy these days is finding those boys--now men, all grown up and filled out--that I longed for in high school and rocking their worlds. This once wallflower is now a Venus Mantrap.

EXCERPT: Legally Bound by Rynne Raines (BDSM Romance)

Legally Bound on sale now for $3.25at The Wild Rose Press and Amazon.com

Blurb

Evelyn Morgan has a secret. Donavan Carver wants to expose it. Bondage, debauchery, and a weekend at Eden lands one of them on their knees….

For years, Eve has craved sexual domination, but a kinky romp in the hay isn't worth destroying her prestigious legal reputation over. Even if that romp’s with her handsome rival and legendary Dominant, Donavan Carver. Desperate to protect her secret and keep the notorious playboy at bay, Eve clings to the lie she’s told for two years—she’s a Domme. Donavan doesn’t buy it. Given an opportunity to put Donavan’s doubts to rest, Eve lures him into a bet he can’t win—one that will tether him to her leash. So what if she cheats to win? He’ll never find out. Or will he?

Excerpt

At the challenge, Eve lifted her chin a measure while the wheels in her head nearly flew off their tracks. This could be her chance to finally put Donavan’s doubts about her being a Mistress to rest. “Care to make a friendly wager, then?”

Donavan studied her thoughtfully. “I’ve been known to make a bet or two. What did you have in mind?”

As if deep in thought, Eve tapped one freshly manicured fingernail against her lips. She wasn’t however. She knew exactly what she wanted.

“All right, if I win this case, we will attend the masquerade together—ah,” Eve wagged her finger when he tried to interrupt. “But you will be my slave. You’ll peel me grapes, rub my feet, and if you’re lucky I might just let you fan me with one of those giant feathers.”

For the first time in ages, Eve saw Donavan hesitate. It was only for a split second but it was there. Perhaps the stakes were just a bit too high for him.

“And if you lose?” he asked, intrigue evident in his tone.

There was no chance in hell of her losing now that she had the tape. Although it was underhanded to make a bet with an ace in the hole, he would never find out. No harm. No foul.

“If I lose, I’ll willingly submit to you for the entire weekend.”

His eyes narrowed and Eve’s pulse skipped a beat. Could he smell the bet was fixed? Did she look too eager? Too confident? Were her lips twitching and giving her lucky ace away?

Her throat dried further as Marcy proudly clutched the tape to her chest and marched toward them. If Donavan spotted that cassette, he wouldn’t enter into a wager that could land him on his knees without seeing what was on the tape first. She needed his answer. Now.

“What do you say, Carver?”

With his scorching gaze hot enough to melt the buttons clean off her ivory blouse, Donavan scanned her from head to toe. He brought his eyes back to hers. “You got yourself a bet, counselor.”

Erotic Author, Rachel Leigh heats up Wicked Wednesday with her story, Coming Back.

Welcome to Wicked Wednesday where we dive into all things wicked. Today we have Erotic Romance Author, Rachel Leigh joining us to talk about her book, Coming Back which is available now at The Wild Rose Press. She's also been nice enough to answer our questions, toss in an excerpt and a blurb, AND offer an ecopy of one of her stories to one lucky commenter!

(Don't want to miss any giveaways or exciting naughty talk? Feel free to join my blog followers on the right of this page)

Let's get started!

RR: Tell us a little about " Coming Back"

RL: “Coming Back” is a story about lost love and all the emotion that entails. It’s a story of angry passion, needful passion and a battle of wills to fight for what both the hero and heroine both need to move forward. Loved writing it! :)

RR: What was your inspiration for this wicked story?

RL: Rather than inspiration for the story idea itself, I started writing Coming Back when I heard the heroine’s voice in my head.

I was ironing and suddenly a female voice said, “That’s it, I’m going celibate.” That was I had. Then I answered the questions. Who? What? Why? When? How?

RR: Is there a message in your book that you want readers to grasp or was it written for the purpose of pure naughty enjoyment?

RL: A lot of my books have a central theme of ‘trust’. I only recently realized this when a fellow writer pointed it out to me. I suppose my message in this story is about trust and open communication. A lot of heartbreak can be avoided if we were just honest with each other!

RR: Describe your writing process?

RL: What’s that?? Only joking! I certainly don’t wait for the muse to strike. I treat my writing as a job and do it even when I don’t feel like it. If I’m stuck for ideas, I usually scan the newspaper or chose a favorite episode of a TV program and see how I can make it different.

Then I just write. The first draft is my ‘dirty’ draft where anything goes from start to finish. The second and third drafts are where the hard work comes in!

RR: How long have you been writing?

RL: I am fairly new to erotic romance writing and started about two years ago. I’m still learning and my editor and fellow authors have played a huge part in that.

Buy Explicitly English Today

RR: Are there any authors you would name as influences?

RL: For storytelling and characterization, I admire Nora Roberts – for me, she continually does what she’s supposed to – deliver great stories. As far as sensuality and the art of writing erotic romance, there are too many to mention.

I read the genre, enjoy the genre and hope to continue to be published in the genre. Erotic romance is romance but with that added freedom of making the most of physical expression.

RR: What led you to the erotic genre?

RL: I’ve always loved to read it but when I started writing, I only wrote mainstream romance but found the love scenes weren’t as explicit as the characters wanted them. Therefore, erotic was the way forward!

RR: Are you currently working on anything deliciously wicked?

RL: I am due to start a brand new story this week – I have started sketching out a plan but it’s too early to give you the details. My characters are always British but I put them anywhere in the world.

My latest (which was just accepted by The Wild Rose Press) is set in Zante so I might have to come home for the next one ;)

RR: You've got six key words to describe your own wicked fantasy. What are these six words? (Example: Huge Jackman, Naked, Beach, Sunset, Mojito's, Orgasm)

RL: Matthew McConaughey, Naked, Field, Picnic, Wine, Orgasm

RR: Sleepwear: Nude of PJ's?

RL: PJs

RR: Sweet & chocolaty, or salty & crunchy?

RL: Sweet & Chocolatey

RR: Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt?

RL: Hugh Jackman

RR: What is your all-time favorite "get you in the mood" song?

RL: Ooh, tough one! I am a romantic girl at heart, so ‘She’ by Elvis Costello. These things should be taken slowly sometimes…

RR: Can you share a wicked excerpt with us today? (the naughtier, the better! *wink*)

RL: Of course! Here’s the blurb, excerpt and buy link for “Coming Back”

Blurb:

Kelly Hampton loved once...and lost. After two years of looking for Sean MacKenzie in other men--and failing miserably--she takes a vow of celibacy. No sex until she finds love. Then Sean strolls back into her bar, reigniting old flames. No one has come close to understanding or satisfying her like he did. Her body burns for the passion they once shared, but her heart still remembers the pain.

Sean escaped Jessop Hill and his father's fists in the middle of the night without a word--even to his love, Kelly--to protect his battered mother, but he never forgot the explosively erotic relationship he left behind. Now his father is dead and Sean is back for the only woman he's ever wanted. Their reunion is full of fire – but can sexual attraction and noble intentions overcome years of heartache or will Kelly walk away to protect her heart this time.

Excerpt:

The center of his boxers were tented and she slid them down his thighs too. Dragging the jeans and boxers over his feet, she dropped them to the floor and turned to stare at the beautiful length of him. Her pussy throbbed and she pressed her thighs together in an attempt to stem it. His cock was erect and wide, long and hard and bloody hell she wanted it buried deep inside her. And she would - but not quite yet. She swallowed before slowly stretching her body out across the bed, feline in interest and execution, she hovered her lips over him, gently flicking out her tongue and lapping the bead of moisture at its tip.

His sharp intake of breath was like a wire to her moist slit and it ached in anticipation. The deal was off. She would take the grief from the boys at the bar, she would accept the ribbing and jibing, Sean was too good to pass up. Celibacy or no celibacy.

Taking him fully in her mouth, his pulsing, exquisitely eager cock slipped to the back of her throat as she nestled her nose against his rough thatch of pubic hair. Kelly sucked and licked. In and out she drew that thick warm member. Her wetness trickled softly down her leg as she trailed her tongue up and down his shaft, her fist clasped firmly around the base as she maneuvered him back and forth.

RR: What a fantastic excerpt! Thanks so much for sharing and joining us today on Wicked Wednesday.

Erotic Author, Jennifer Jakes-Interview and Giveaway

Welcome to my debut of Wicked Wednesday's where we dive into all things Wicked. That includes naughty fantasies to sex toys to interviews with erotic authors. Consider Wicked Wednesday a day to cut loose and dish about all those things your mother never deemed appropriate.(Don't forget to become a follower of the blog so you don't miss out on any interviews or giveaways!)

Let the fun begin!

Today we welcome erotic author, Jennifer Jakes to the blog. We'll discuss what makes her tick, find out about her up and coming work, and also dive into the goods about her novella, TWICE IN A LIFETIME! (which is available at Amazon and Barnes and Nobel for only .99 cents!) Did I also mention she's giving away an ecopy of TWICE IN A LIFETIME to one lucky commenter today?

Let's get started!

RR: Tell us a little about "TWICE IN A LIFETIME".

JJ: No-nonsense stunt woman Isabella Douglas will do anything to stop an unwanted divorce and reclaim the happy life she had, even allow her old friend to concoct a magical spell to turn back time. But when the spell goes awry, Izzy finds herself trapped aboard a 1768 Caribbean pirate ship with a captain who’s a dead ringer for her sexy as sin husband, Ian. Convinced he’s playing a cruel joke, she’s furious – until she realizes he doesn’t know her or believe they’re married.

Captain Ian Douglas does not have time to deal with an insane woman who claims to be his wife; he has to save his kidnapped sister. But as Izzy haunts his dreams and fills him with erotic memories he can’t explain, he’s forced to admit he feels more than lust.

Trapped in a vicious cycle of past mirroring present, Izzy knows they only have days to find Ian’s sister and prevent disaster from striking a second time. If she doesn’t, their marriage will be destroyed again – along with the man she loves.

RR: What was your inspiration for this wicked story?

JJ: I wanted to write something that was different than the virginal-girl-meets-boy type story. I wanted two lovers who knew each other – and each other’s bodies – very well. :)

RR: Is there a message in your book that you want readers to grasp or was it written for the purpose of pure naughty enjoyment?

JJ: Just naughty pleasure!

RR: Describe your writing process?

JJ: The word sporadic comes to mind. LOL I’m more pantser than plotter, though I usually know the opening scene, the black moment and the end. The rest I let play-out in my head as I write.

RR: How long have you been writing?

JJ: I think this is year 5.

RR: Are there any authors you would name as influences?

JJ: I love Emma Holly’s work and PJ Mellor – who I got to meet last year and she is a wonderfully nice person!

RR: What led you to the erotic genre?

JJ: I always felt something was missing when I read “closed door” sex scenes, so I picked “spicy” books. When I discovered the erotic genre, I was hooked!! It was like what I’d been looking for as a reader. It was a no-brainer for me what I would write. :)

RR: Are you currently working on anything deliciously wicked?

JJ: I’m writing another western historical (my debut novel, RAFE’S REDEMPTION, was an erotic western set in 1866) set in Alaska during the gold rush in 1898.

RR: You've got six key words to describe your own wicked fantasy. What are these six words?

JJ: Alex O’Loughlin. Jake Owen. Naked. Pomegrita (pomegranate margarita). Caribbean. Oral.

RR: Sleepwear: Nude or PJ's?

JJ: PJs (I get cold at night.)

RR: Sweet & chocolaty, or salty & crunchy?

JJ: Salty/crunchy

RR: Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt?

JJ: Hugh Jackman

RR: What is your all-time favorite "get you in the mood" song?

JJ: Pour Some Sugar On Me

RR: Can you share a wicked excerpt with us today? (the naughtier, the better! *wink*)

JJ: “Mmm.” Ian watched her wander to the window and stare at the water, knuckles white as she gripped the sill. His wife was a bad liar.

She turned, smiling a little too brightly. “Why don’t you come to bed? You look exhausted.” Grasping his hands, she tugged him to his feet.

“I thought perhaps we’d have a drink.” He strolled to the cabinet and uncorked the rum. “We were going to talk. Remember?” His confidence bloomed at her panicked expression. She was hiding something, and he intended to find out what.

“Could it wait until tomorrow?” Her words brushed his bare shoulder. “I don’t really feel like talking.” Slow kisses tickled down his spine, her tongue warm and wet.

Oh, she would make an excellent spy. Sex as a diversion. Well, it would not work— at least not on him. But testing her resolve promised to be a delight. Just what secrets would she divulge while in passion’s grasp?

He turned, trailing a finger down the V in the shirt, across the soft skin between her breasts. “What do you feel like doing?”

A seductress’s smile curved her mouth, a smile so tempting his resolved nearly faltered. She gripped the hem of the shirt and inched it up over her body. Long legs. Wide hips. Firm breasts…Deuce! Sweat prickled his scalp. Heat roared through him. Dark blonde curls shaved into a thin strip topped her cunny.

She dropped the shirt to the floor and lifted her dark gaze.

Damn, this would be harder than he thought. How could he drive her to distraction when he couldn’t think for the painful throbbing of his erection?

“Those pants look a little tight.” She cupped his length, rubbing her palm from head to ballocks. “Why don’t you take them off?” One button, then two and tropical air caressed his cockhead. Her hand covered him, gave him a gentle twist as if he was her personal door knob, slicking the moisture already gathering from his slit.

“Let’s move to the bed, first.” Gathering her wrists, he tugged her to the mattress. He couldn’t let her have control, couldn’t make love to Daniel’s spy. “Lie down and place your hands above your head.” How much pleasure could she take before she told the truth?

She grinned. “All right.” She gripped the wooden berth. “Are you going to tie my hands, or do you trust me?”

Trust. Hell, if he knew whether or not he could trust her, he would be bringing her to climax right now instead of staging a sexual interrogation. “I hope I can trust you.”

Whew! That was hot, Jennifer! Just the way I like it. Thank you so much for being the first guest on Wicked Wednesday. Hope to see you again soon!
