Wicked Wednesday-BJ Hayes "blows" us away with her new release Oral Invitation

I'd like to announce a super special guest today! BJ Hayes is here talking about her writing process and giving us a peek at her new Male/Male Erotic Romance release, Oral Invitation! She's also agreed to give away an ecopy of Oral Invitation to one lucky commenter. So, don't forget to leave a comment!

Let's dive in!

R.R: Tell us a little about Oral Invitation.

BJ: Oral Invitation is a male/male erotic romance short story. Here’s the blurb:

Dylan Lindstrom has always loved women and always will. At least that's what he thinks until free spirit Jackson Carter invites him back to his place for a beer. Jackson is athletic, outgoing, good-looking, loves motorcycles—a man’s man—and Dylan feels an instant connection with him. But when Jackson offers him more than a bike ride through Denver, Dylan must decide if he’s ready to accept Jackson’s oral invitation.

R.R What was your inspiration for this wicked story?

BJ:A few years ago, my crit partners and I challenged each other to write a male/male erotic romance. Oral Invitation is the result!

R.R Is there a message in your book that you want readers to grasp or was it written for the purpose of pure naughty enjoyment?

BJ: There is a message that it’s the person that counts rather than his or her sex, but it’s mostly for naughty enjoyment.

R.R Describe your writing process?

BJ:I wish I had more of a process, lol. I basically sit down and start writing. I’ve come up with some of my best stuff when I had no idea where I was going.

R.R How long have you been writing?

BJ: About forty years! I’ve written off and on since I learned when I was six.

R.R Are there any authors you would name as influences?

BJ: Too many to count – at the top are Lisa Kleypas, Jaid Black, Joan Johnston, and Judy Blume.

R.R What led you to the erotic genre?

BJ:No matter how hard I tried not to get steamy, my characters always ended up in the sack by chapter four. When I found erotic romance, I knew it was for me!

R.R Are you currently working on anything deliciously wicked?

BJ:An anthology of lesbian erotica. I’ll be writing under the pseudonym Lily Jade.

R.R You've got six key words to describe your own wicked fantasy. What are these six words? (Example: Huge Jackman, Naked, Beach, Sunset, Mojito's, Orgasm)

BJ:Gerard Butler, Emmanuel Delcour, me – that’s all I need :).

R.R. Sleepwear: Nude of PJ's?

BJ: P.J.s, but only because I’m always cold :).

R.R Sweet & chocolaty, or salty & crunchy?

BJ: Both!

R.R Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt?

BJ: Hugh Jackman, totally.

R.R What is your all-time favorite "get you in the mood" song?

BJ:Lady in Red

R.R Can you share a wicked excerpt with us today? (the naughtier, the better! *wink*)

EXCERPT

“Here it is.” He handed Dylan a brochure. “I’ve done this ride before. We go through Dillon, then over Rabbit Ears Pass through Steamboat to this tiny little town called Murphy where we have dinner and spend the night. Then we head back around the long way.” He pointed to the map inside the brochure. “There’s some great scenery through here, and we ought to glimpse some wildlife. A beautiful canyon. It’s about four hours the first day, five hours home the second. Because it’s short, we don’t have to get up at the buttcrack of dawn.”

Dylan laughed. “That sounds good. I’m not a real morning person. Except when I get up to play racquetball.”

“You play? So do I. We should play sometime.”

“Yeah, sure. I’d like to.”

“Okay, I’ll give you a call.” He pressed the brochure into Dylan’s hand. “You can keep this. I hope you’ll think about going.”

“I sure will. I haven’t had the time for a long ride in a while. I’ve missed it.” He took a long draft of his beer. “I used to ride all summer when I was in college, the years after college, too. I haven’t had time lately. Been too busy building my business. I sure miss the sun and wind on my face, though. So relaxing.”

“I know what you mean,” Jackson said. “There’s something about being on that bike that relaxes me like nothing else.” He let out a soft chuckle. “Well, almost nothing else.”

“Yeah.” Dylan couldn’t help smiling. “I’d take a good blow job over a bike ride any day.”

“Me, too.” Jackson looked straight into Dylan’s eyes. “You want one now?”

Dylan nearly blew beer out his nose. “Excuse me?”

Jackson’s dark eyes penetrated his skin. Dylan closed his own for a moment, but Jackson’s stare still burned him. Like a thousand little fire-laden thorns prickling his entire body.

“I asked if you’d like a blow job.” Jackson’s deep voice was husky, sensual.

“Well…b-by whom?” Dylan stammered.

Jackson’s full lips curled upward into a teasing grin. “By me, fool.”

Dylan swallowed. “You can’t be serious.”

“Oh, I am.”

“Oh my God.”

“You haven’t lived until you’ve had a blow job by a guy. Guys have stronger mouths, and I’ll never complain about my jaw aching, because I’ll enjoy every mind blowing minute of it.”

R.R Thank you so much for being interviewed for Wicked Wednesday, BJ! We hope to see you again soon.

Wicked Wenesday: Reece Herring brings a little Paranormal to the wicked table today!

Welcome to Wicked Wednesday! Today we have Paranormal Romance author Reece Herring dishing about her writing process, ultimate fantasy in six words, and about her re-release of Soar Into Ecstasy. She's also agreed to give a copy of Soar away to one lucky commenter! Just leave your name and email addy in the comment section and you're entered to win.

Let's get started!

RR: Tell us a little about Soar Into Ecstasy.

RH: I don’t like to give too much away that’s not in the blurb or excerpts but let’s just say when you put a devout priestess and a winged haughty hottie together- sparks aren’t the only thing that can fly : )

RR: What was your inspiration for this story?

RH: Well as it happens I had just watched the new Superman with Brandon Routh and it got my mind flittering down erotic pathways of aerial sex-capades and once I had that seared into my brain the story came together in no time at all lol

RR: Is there a message in your book that you want readers to grasp or was it written for the purpose of pure naughty enjoyment?

RH: Well if I looked deeply I suppose I could find a hidden message about religion or not judging a person based on first impressions but really I just wrote it for the naughty fun of it : )

RR: Describe your writing process?

RH: I wouldn’t say I have a great process. I always end up having to do a lot of edits because I tend to rush my first draft and sometimes don’t think the plot through enough, but luckily I have a several good friends who can spot those flaws and make me put the time needed into the story . If only I could write perfectly the FIRST time lol

RR: How long have you been writing?

RH: I’ve been writing poems since I was a kid and sometime in my twenties I dabbled with a novel but not until 5 years ago did I start taking writing seriously.

RR: Are there any authors you would name as influences?

RH: I’ve read tons of fantasy, so Terry Brooks and David Eddings are long time influences, but I’ve also read Jane Eyre more times then I count, it’s one of the earliest and mostly likely strongest influences for me in romance. Really there are too many to count since any author whose work I relish, inspires me.

RR: What led you to the Paranormal Romance genre?

RH: I’ve always read fantasy and romance, for me the two clicked together and I find I get the best of both worlds with that combo.

RR: Are you currently working on anything deliciously wicked?

RH: I’ve had several in the works for a while but which one will demand its completion first I couldn’t say lol

RR: You've got six key words to describe your own wicked fantasy. What are these six words?

RH: Kevin Smith(from Xena…I know he’s gone but it’s my fantasy right?) Jason Momoa, Naked, Mount Olympus, strawberry margaritas and multiple orgasms!

RR: Sleepwear: Nude of PJ's?

RH: Nude whenever possible

RR: Sweet & chocolaty, or salty & crunchy?

RH: Sweet and chocolaty

RR: Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt?

RH: Hugh Jackman every time

RR: What is your all-time favorite "get you in the mood" song?

RH: Solomon Burk “Cry to Me” from the dirty dancing soundtrack

RR: Can you share a wicked excerpt with us today? (the naughtier, the better! *wink*)

Excerpt

“Do not test me, Woman! What place is this you have brought me to?”

“The Woodland Temple,” she said, her voice wavering.

“Of which God or Goddess?” he demanded.

“Teavana.” she murmured.

In a flash of wings and molten limbs, she was pinned forcefully against the wall, preventing any escape from his fury. Her fear and excitement was instantly fueled by his sudden violence.

“You brought me inside the temple of the Goddess Teavana?” He shoved her against the wall once again. “Me, the anointed of Euphrosyn, inside the temple of another Goddess? Have you any idea what you’ve done?” he asked enraged.

“I saved your life, which you seem not to appreciate.” She flared, a surge of anger burning up all fear.

“You are hurting me. Release me. Now.” She tried to push him away, and was alarmed to see, even in his weakened state, she moved him not at all.

“You do not command me, Woman. No one commands me now, for I no longer have any honor. So, as you have taken my honor, perhaps I shall take yours.” He thrust his hand into her hair, pulling her head back as he plundered her mouth. He drank of her sweet essence and, pulling her tighter to him, he pushed her robes aside, baring the generous expanse of her pale breasts…
